The one-person story

Boutique by design. Fluent in construction.

mejaikaidysonai is one principal, one desk, and one cup of coffee. I accept a small, select group of clients at a time so I can genuinely learn how each firm operates before proposing anything.

The practice concentrates on the construction industry — general contractors, subcontractors, and the engineering and design practices that work alongside them. It is a trade with real constraints: bids on a clock, submittals that cannot be wrong, and field teams with no patience for another login. That is precisely why it rewards careful, well-fitted work. I take clients outside the sector when the problem suits me, but this is where my judgment is sharpest.

Most AI counsel arrives as a rollout: a platform, a deck, a training day, and a great deal of quiet resistance afterward. I work in reverse — we sit together, identify the parts of the week that drain people, and make those parts lighter. With care, and only as quickly as your team is comfortable moving.

Remaining small is the point. It keeps the work bespoke, keeps me answering my own correspondence, and keeps quality rising month over month rather than thinning out.

How I like to work

One to one

Every engagement is a direct conversation — no account managers, no hand-offs.

Built for the trade

Work shaped around estimating, submittals, RFIs, and field reporting — not a generic playbook.

Month over month

We revisit the work each month, refining the details as your crews and office settle in.
